So when I got home from the trip to Cantwell, I puttered around a bit unpacking and looking at photos, then ate some excellent veggie lasanga my roommate made and got ready to head on down to Ship Creek to view some of the salmon fishing going on right in downtown Anchorage.
Yes. You can fish for King Salmon in downtown Anchorage!
The photo above is of the dam at Ship Creek, the salmon have to make it up and over, with some help, to head on back to the fishery.
