So today has been a pretty quiet day, lots of reading and finalizing our draft questions for review with our supervisor. I finally got out my headphones and am listening to good music today to cover up the sounds of the Seward Highway which is outside my office.
We found out that we may be able to visit the new village site that Newtok residents are eventually moving to, Mertarvik. There is nothing there except a temporary barge landing and construction materials for three houses that are in the process of being built.
